The SmartCap came out on top at the 2009 Australian Mining Prospect Awards.

In a hotly contested field of no less than 13 finalists (the most finalists of the 12 categories in the Awards), spanning companies such as Runge Engineering, DuPont and Xstrata Copper, the SmartCap team walked away with the trophy.
